Our story
From one shed on the bypass to two workshops
Auto Spot opened its doors at Idimuzhikkal, on the NH 66 bypass in Malappuram, with a simple idea: car owners here shouldn't have to drive to a dealer in the city for good work, and shouldn't have to gamble on a roadside garage either. One government approved workshop, every brand, honest billing.
That approach filled the yard. Mechanical jobs, denting and painting, accident rebuilds and insurance claims kept coming in, and customers kept coming back. A second branch followed in Calicut, so owners on that side get the same service without the drive.
Both workshops run on the same rules. Inspect first. Quote before you cut. Call the customer before spending a rupee more than the estimate. Test drive everything before delivery.

Auto Spot is not a quick-lube bay. Both branches are laid out for full jobs: covered service bays with hydraulic jacks and lifts, a dedicated area for body work and painting, and enough yard space that a long insurance job doesn't block the routine services.

Before you bring the car in
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome at both branches, but a quick call or WhatsApp helps us keep a bay free and get the parts ready, especially for bigger jobs like clutch, AC or body work.
Which brands do you service?
All of them. Auto Spot is a multi-branded centre, so hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs and luxury cars are all handled, from Maruti and Hyundai through to Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Land Rover.
Can you handle my insurance claim?
We help with the documentation, but we do not have a cashless facility. We prepare the estimate, take the damage photos, coordinate with the surveyor and give you the bill and papers to claim the amount back from your insurer. Bring your policy copy, RC and licence.
Do you pick up and drop the car?
Free pick-up and drop is available within the local area around both branches. For breakdowns and accidents, recovery support can be arranged on call.
Are the spare parts genuine?
We use genuine or OEM-grade parts as standard. If you prefer a cheaper aftermarket option for an older car, we will tell you the difference and let you choose.
How long will my car take?
A general service is usually same-day. Mechanical repairs depend on parts availability, and denting and painting typically takes two to five days depending on the panels involved. You get a date when the estimate is approved.
